*New Mini PAC Ages 6-8 (Beginning) – Start here!  This class is great for the true beginner or for those who wish to continue working on their Hip Hop and Jazz technique, choreography, and rhythm.  Class Series runs from May 21st -June 11th (5 sessions).  Participants will perform a learned routine in the June 18th Showcase!

Ages 9-11 (Beginning/Intermediate)- This beginning/low intermediate class focuses on teaching fundamental Hip-Hop foundation including elements of popping, locking, and breaking. The importance of having a Hip Hop foundation as a means through which your personal (free) style can emerge and develop will be explored. Choreographed routines to various Hip Hop styles will be tought after warm up and across the floor exercises.

Ages 12-15 – This intermediate class starts with a warm-up that includes focus on Hip Hop Elements (popping, locking, breaking, etc.).  Across the floor Hip Hop foundation exercises will be executed (balance, strength, and body control).  Every class will end with a fun routine for students to fine tune their execution and technique.  The class addresses the most important elements of Hip-Hop, such as foundation terminology, choreography, history and musicality.

Hip Hop Attire: Stretchy, comfortable dance or “work-out” clothing. Pants, shorts, tanks, T-shirts are okay. No “school clothes” (jeans, jean shorts, or restrictive clothing). Flexible sneakers required.  No street shoes!  Shoes should be purchased for dance use only and changed into before entering the dance floor.
